We recently had the honor of photographing Ashley and Brandon for their engagement. We met them in Little Rock and had a great afternoon with this wonderful couple...
Brandon is a lot like Bill - pretty quiet and laid back --
Ashley was so bubbly and full of life ---
The two make such a great couple...

While walking the streets of Little Rock --- we saw this great arch with the sun coming through it ... we love it ... and the photos from it our outstanding !!!

"A" took this shot of Brandon and Ashley sneaking a kiss -- the heart necklace was a gift from Brandon for Ashley ...

While "A" took the "smooching" photo -- Bill was getting the same shot -- to include their beautiful ring....

The leaves were starting to change colors -- and the "fuzzy purple grass" (which Bill loves) was found ... Well ... need we say more ....

This one really highlights the bridge ... And Brandon and Ashley look pretty good, too !!!

We were working with the couple at this fountain and "A" asked Ashley to give Brandon a kiss ... We loved it ... She reached up and cupped Brandon's face and gave him a good on --- it was soooo moving ... we could never have asked for a better shot had we posed them ...

We came home from a very busy weekend to a great gift on our studio porch....
It was an absolutely stunning serving dish and this awesome layered serving dishes ...

(THEY WILL BE THE FIRST THING WE GET TO USE AT THE NEW STUDIO -- more on that soon !!!)

It is so very moving for us and so very thoughtful of you guys to thank us for doing something that we feel soooo honored to be a part of ....

And if this wonderful gift wasn't enough --- it had a very moving thank you card with it...

We can't thank you enough for everything that you have done for us, we really appreciate it! We could not have chosen more dedicated, trustworthy, fun loving, and creative people than you two. Everything you guys did for us was extraordinary ...

Our favorite was the showings you did for us after our engagement, bridal, and then the wedding. Every time we look at our pictures we are reminded of our special day. . . The slide shows you guys put together for us are so meaningful and we will have them for the rest of our lives. They are something that we can show our children and grandchildren.

Thanks again for all your hard work, dedication, passion, and love for photography. You guys are truly blessed with a wonderful talent.

Hey -- we love you guys, 2 !!!

All our couples come to mean so much to us -- and they remain friends for years after their wedding !!

Yes, "A" got very tearful and was so moved. And ol' Bill got a little glistening around the eye area, too.... Allergies, he said... Funny --- he's never had them before !!!! LOL !!

Thanks to all our 2008 couples for helping to make Photographs & Memories so successful and creating a great 2009 season for us ...

We have about 3/4 of our season booked ...

It's your referrals, your facebook posts, your MySpace posts, your blogs, and your word of mouth that brings more couples to us ....

And for that we are so grateful...

But more than that --

We are so fortunate to have gotten the opportunity to meet each of you and your families ...

Ashley and Steven -- A Winter Love Story

Ashley and Steven met us at one of our 08 weddings and fell in love with our slideshows and music selection.... And we think they liked the photos, too.....

They have a winter wedding planned in Jan. and we recently did their engagement portrait session... These 2 are sooooo much fun.... Ashley loves to pose ... wait to you see her BRIDAL FASHION SESSION !! .... And Steven is laid back with an occasional joke or 2...

We're often asked how we get our cool stylized photos ... Sure "A" does LOTS of PhotoShop work on them --- but our key secret -- ACTIONS!!!

We have several that we use -- but our fav TOTALLY RAD ACTIONS .... they help us create the fun look that so many of our photos have !!! Thanks Doug for some "Totally RAD" actions that help us deliver our stylized look that you all have come to love !!!

We traveled to Russellville recently to take these pictures for Kayla and Justin -- one of our 2009 couples...
